We’ve all had them, haven’t we? The texts that say something like “c u @ 8″ – with no signature. It’s amazing how many people just think you will know who they are when they phone, text, email or write. They phone and launch straight into the conversation without telling you their name. I usually hope that if they keep talking for long enough I’ll work out who it is!
With texts, you don’t have the luxury of taking time to recognize the caller’s voice. If it’s a simple text like the one I suggested above you can just text back and ask who sent it.
